KFANA

The Kerr Family Association of North America (KFANA) was formed in 1977.  Each year, KFANA has a family tent at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games where our annual meeting is held.

KFANA has been honored to be formally recognized by the Marquess of Lothian as his representatives in North America on behalf of the Kerr family (which includes Kerrs, Kers, Karrs, Carrs, Carres, etc.).  KFANA’s special relationship allows their free use of the Kerr badge and coat of arms.

KFANA also maintains a genealogical database at a separate website (www.kerrcarrgenealogy.com) which contains over 2,000 family lines.  Only members are allowed access to this information.

The organization also publishes a newsletter – “The Border Line” three times a year which is another benefit of membership.

If you would like to join or wish further information, please email our Treasurer.
